I was tasked with creating an NPR Politics Instagram story on President Trump’s trial counsel for impeachment. With a mundane list of names that can easily be passed over, my goal was to design this so that one name would appear at a time so it could be recognized. The new names were added in white, and as I moved to the next they turned to black so that the next name would continue to be highlighted.
I wanted some added visual interest to this and thought up the football play motif with the Xs, Os, and arrows pointing them in different directions. The goal was to speak to the strategy and their moves during Trump’s first impeachment.
