I was tasked with adapting this comprehensive timeline from an NPR digital story for Instagram in a shareable format. This project was especially unique as I had to work out how exactly to fit even an edited down timeline onto 10 1:1 slides on Instagram.
My editor and I worked together to edit down the content so we could fit each point in a legible size while still maintaining the integrity of the information. To help ease the reading experience, I created type styles to help break up the content in each bubble making the information as easy as possible to discern.
The COVID-19 green palette is something I created for the Senate Relief Aid Bill post as a way to distinguish content related to the pandemic. I carried that here and also included soft green bubbles in the back to help create depth and resemble the virus floating in air.
